The Lingotto Camplus facilities
Turin’s Camplus Lingotto opened its doors to students for the first time on September 17th, 2007. Its modern facilities are equipped with every comfort and can accommodate up to 80 students
The city and the university
The Turin Camplus is just five kilometers from the historic city center and is located within the Lingotto multipurpose complex, the heart of Turin, home to more than 200 commercial establishments (shops, traditional and fast-food restaurants, movie theaters).
The Lingotto complex is also home to the Dental School and Politecnico's Automotive Engineering degree program, as well as to a great many classes of the University of Turin. Also near the Camplus are the School of Business Administration (SAA), the faculty of Medicine, and one of the sites of the faculty of Economics (Palazzo del Lavoro, which is a five-minute walk away).
Eataly, the world's largest food and wine bazaar, is located directly across from the entrance to the Camplus and is a great place for shopping, dining, and even taking cooking classes.
The Camplus
The entrance to the Camplus is located on the north ramp of 8 Gallery. It occupies the fourth floor of the huge building that was hosted the Fiat headquarters for many years.
The residence can accommodate up to 80 students and 76 additional guests.
The residence has both double rooms and double rooms with loft, all of which come with a telephone, air conditioning, Internet connection, and private bath.
Students also have access to a (coin-operated) laundry room within the facilities.
Wireless Internet connections will also be made available in all common areas.
