The Alma Mater campus is located in the Charlie Parker park, close to the university and to Bologna's main train station (Stazione Centrale).

The faculties of Agriculture, Economics, Pharmacy, Law, Literature and Philosophy, Medicine, Education Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences, Political Sciences, Statistics, and the art academy are just a ten-minute walk or a five-minute bike ride from the residence.

Although not part of the main university district, the faculties of Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, Modern Languages and Foreign Literature are just 15 minutes from the campus by public transport or ten minutes by car.

The area where the campus is located is served by bus lines 21, 38, 35, 28 and 60, which can also be used throughout the day to reach all of the most important parts of Bologna (the fairgrounds, the train station, Via Indipendenza, Piazza Maggiore, Due Torri, Sant'Orsola hospital, etc.).

The Alma Mater campus has a capacity of 124 residents, in addition to areas and services for study, university life, and free time.
