The d'Aragona College facilities
Opened in October 2005, Campus d’Aragona is centrally located in Via Monsignor Ventimiglia and can accommodate up to 87 students
The city and the university
Campus d'Aragona is located in the historic center of Catania, just a short walk from Corso Italia and via Etnea - the city's main thoroughfares, that run through its most vibrant commercial district. Three movie theaters, as well as a great many shops and other services, are within walking distance of the campus.
The train station is just a 10-minute walk away and may also be reached using public transport (bus lines 4-7, 429 and 457).
The beautiful Piazza Stesicoro, with its Roman amphitheatre, is also nearby.
Campus d'Aragona is not far from the faculties of Economics, Political Sciences (both a 10-minute walk away), Law and Humanities (roughly 15 minutes away). University City, where most of the scientific faculties are located, is roughly two and a half kilometers from the campus and can be reached by taking bus line 432.
The campus
Campus d'Aragona is located in the same building that was, for many years, the San Vincenzo de' Paoli conservatory and which was completely refurbished for use as a university campus in 2005.
Its main entrance is on Via Monsignor Ventimiglia. The campus's conference hall can also be accessed from a separate entrance on Via San Vincenzo de' Paoli.
The facilities can accommodate 87 students in single and double rooms.
There are a total of 56 rooms, three of which are equipped for people with disabilities. Each room comes with a desk, bookcase, telephone, air conditioning, and private bath.
